"...If the homies can't have none..."
Ok, at this point you may just be thinking wow, that's some #hoshit (or maybe those are just my thoughts).
Fast forward a (short) period of time, the guy and the girl eventually move on from just 'messing around', to actually being in a relationship and then living together. Do any fellas (or ANYONE really), see an issue with this?
It's always been my understanding that men are prideful creatures. A man doesn't want a woman anybody in his circle can say 'yea man I had that', he wants someone he feels like is 'his', and that noone else has had. Now granted, most men know when they get with a girl that she's not a virgin and there have been others before him. But the key word is before. Having a chic that sleeps with others at the same time she's sleeping with him is one thing, but knowing that the other guys are members of your immediate circle (and family) is just unheard of. At least that's my understanding. So how strange is it that a man is basically able to wife a chic that he was able to basically pimp to his crew? I mean can you really take this chic to family gatherings and parade her around with pride? Not to mention there's something to be said about a chic who will allow herself to be used that way by the man she's 'dating'. But hey I guess we all do crazy things for love right (hello no).
This is a conversation I got into with one of male friends, and crazy enough he got mad when I told him that he was settling and that maybe his standards were too low. I just think that if you are with someone who obviously has little respect for themselves, what does that say about the respect that you have for yourself? I'm sure I'm being judgmental but in this case I think it's justified, and it goes against what I believe to be true about men and their prides. He tries to justify it by saying that he doesn't really have any feelings concerning it because as far as she is concerned he is closed off to her emotionally. But if that's the case then why are yall living together? Just continue to do the f*ck buddy thing when the right hand aint enough. But by all means don't bring this chic to grandma's house...smdh....oh well.
